Have booked my trip to turkey for ANZAC day!!! Am going on a 15 day tour with a company call on the go - a few of the gals from work have been with them & they enjoyed themselves. I fly out on the 22nd April & get back on the 8th May. Should be a good trip. Just a quick update from here ... the winter has turned and the sun is starting to rise a bit earlier and set a bit later. How nice it feels to see a bit mor sunlight. Also the sun had been out alot the last few days. Got to 10C today which was very nice. Hope it keeps getting a bit warmer ... 2C was just a bit to fresh for a while. Busy like mad at work ... will have worked about 52 hours by the end of this week. I just have to think of the money. Am booking trips on friday morning before work. Not much else to report. Hope everyone is ok at home. Will have more photos up soon. Take care all.

I realise it is better late than never with these photos. Have been a while coming. The photos start at the begining of the week so they are in order. You may notice that as the week goes on there is more snow as it did snow late in the week. Will try & write where each photo is from in the coming day. Am also in the process of doing the photos up in an album - if i dont do it now i will never get around to it & may never remember where all the photos where taken. Better run. Louise

Hi all, i know it has been ever so long since i up dated but there has been really good reasons. First off i had agreat time in france for christmas - very different but great. Met some really nice people & had a great week. Ended up with a bit of a virus but. Got to the end of the trip all right but paided the price when i got back to london. Sick as a dog - has been a long time since i have ever been that sick. Have not been back to work yet - will start back on monday. It is just not nice being that sick & there is not much they can do for you. Feeling alot better & can not wait to get back to work. Am hoping that i should be able to put some photos on to the site very soon. Just have to get them put onto a cd & all should be good.

Am still planning on going to turkey for ANZAC day at the moment - just going to wait & see what happens with the bird flu thing. As long as there is no human to human spread it should be fine.

Hi everone, i realise its been a while since i wrote anything in here. Alot has been going on since i last wrote. Am livingin the nursesquaters near work ... about 5 minute walk which is nice. Also about 5 minutes from Oxford street & all the nice shops. Work is keeping me busy ... am liking it but dont know if i want to stay for ever.  Strange i know but thats how i feel at the moment. Willsee how it goes when oncology join us in january. Will be nice & cosy with all our patient & theirs. We are seeing up wards of 40-50 patients a day so is very busy & crazy at times. Am trying to get organised for my christmas trip ... last minute stuff seems to be coming up at the moment. Also missed my pay day last week so hope fully will get 2 pays this coming friday right before i leave for my trip. Got my hair cut today - £90 later & it looks ok ... kinda what i wanted ... gal was ok but could be a bit rude & very sharp with anything i said about my hair ... although am thinking of buying myself a ghd straighter as they are just so nice. Getting used to shopping in the uk ... things are just a tad different & its hard to find thing. Am also trying to find something for secret santa at work for about £10. Any ideas leave me a message ... its for one of the guys at work who is a german. Better run & do some stuff

After much searching & looking & thinking i would never find some where to live i have fuond some where. Its called Belsize House (part of the London Hostels group). Its in north london ... for those who know london the closest tube is belsize park on the northern line. Am a bit closer to work as well. It a room with a a sink, tv/dvd player and is a goos size. The price is £145/wk incuding breakfast & dinner all week long (just no lunch but have that at work anyway. Its about a 5 min walk to tube station & there are also bus's that run pass tube station and go past work as well so have a few options. Am so happy that i have found some where to live. Was getting very stressed about it. Work on the other hand is going well. Am happy where i am at the moment. .. will stay for a while. They would like me to stay as there are a few leaving/going on long holidays in the coming months. Am looking forward to planning trips and the like now that i have some where to live. Makes things a bit easier. Will email every one with my new address once i have the correct details. As per my previous enty i am off to france for christmas ... have to pay for it this week. Getiing a bit cold over here now. Was 4c when i left for work this morning. Was about 10 max during the day i think. Another thing about this new place is that it has internet there. Also has washing machine & dyer. Hey i can get a real towel now & stop using my travel towel. Oh how i am looking forward to this move. Am picking keys up on friday nite & will move all my things over on saturday morning. Will just catch a cab over to it. Am not going by tube with all my stuff. Am over donig that. Will email soon with my address.
